I canned a marinara a couple weeks ago that took five hours of simmering and three passes through a food mill to reach a "sauce" consistency. While it's delicious, I'm currently in possession of almost 200 lbs of tomatoes and don't have that sort of time. I'm going to try this tonight. I adore this recipe!
